Drawing with light research
This photograph which features drawing with light was taken by Michael Bosanko. I really like the technique of drawing with light as it can make a dull photographer become interesting, like Michael has here. I particularly like this photo he has created because it is a casual photo with out too much detail, making it simple yet effective. From looking at this photograph it has shown me that even using just a small amount of light in this technique can bring an image to life.
This photograph was taken by a photographer named Sola who experiments with capturing the flow and movement of life. This is image which I found is very much the opposite of the one taken by Michael above. I think this because there is a lot more colour and movement captured in the image where as Michael's is more dull. I really like this image which Sola has created because it is interesting to look at due there being a lot to look at in the photo and its brightness.
Over all, researching these images has shown me that I like both simple and also busy images which are created which drawing with light.
Evidence of trying drawing with light
This is one of my favourite images taken from my photographs because the thin lines of light drawn over the blocks are very individual and look smooth. I especially like how the surroundings are completely black because it allows the light I have drawn to stand out and show the tops of the blocks. The only thing that I would say I disliked about the image is the three glow sticks. I don't think they are particularly enhancing the photo, however they aren't making the image any less effective.
This is my favourtie photograph out of all the one taken. I created this effect by constantly flickering the hand held flash gun on the right hand side whilst the image was being captured. By doing this I think that it has made the light look like diamonds which I especially like because I think it has given the light a sharp and shinny texture.
